The Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, is facing domestic political embarrassment after enduring a series of damaging snubs on a visit to Brazil, Iran’s erstwhile close ally.

(The Telegraph, June 27, 2012)

Mr Ahmadinejad’s humiliation was compounded when his Brazilian counterpart, Dilma Rousseff, declined his request for a face-to-face meeting

Mrs. Dilma Rousseff, President of Brazil, has ever since her election changed her country’s policy towards Iran. And as opposed to her predecessor, Mr. Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, she is not ready to let Iran use Brazil as safe haven for terror activities and drug dealing.

Rock on Mrs President!
